The Inventing Room Makes Magic in West Highland

A year has elapsed since the Inventing Room closed in its original location in the Ballpark neighborhood, but chef and dessert wizard Ian Kleinman has pulled a new rabbit out of his hat. The Inventing Room Dessert Shop is now open at 4431 West 29th Avenue in West Highland, serving liquid-nitrogen ice cream and other fanciful confections Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. Here's a look inside the new spot, which offers a little more room for customers and a few surprises on the menu.
