Colorado Cannabis Growers and connoisseurs celebrate this year's MMJ Grow Off.

The Grow Off has become an outlet for Colorado's commercial growers to compete against each other, testing potency, terpenes and yield of the same strain grown at dozens of the state's best cultivations. The 2017 Medical Grow Off announced and celebrated its winners over the weekend at Cultivated Synergy, with the Clinic (terpenes and yield) and Verde Natural (potency) taking home first-place trophies. Former Denver Post cannabis critic and Hash Off and Grow Off founder Jake Browne is just as good at throwing a party as he is at pitting growers against each other, something Westword found out firsthand on Saturday, December 4.
