Voodoo Doughnut's grand opening

With Mayor Michael Hancock and other Denver officials in attendance, Voodoo Doughnut celebrated its grand opening on January 15. The shop will be open 24 hours a day until Monday, when it will take a short break before resuming round-the-clock operations. All photos by Kyle Huninghake.

He didn't need to partake = but he and Governor John Hickenlooper should have been a part of the huge part iof Colorado and the repeal of the prohibition of cannabis and what it can do to help the nation in so many ways. They both at the very least should have been somehow present.  Their mistake my opinion bi[artisan "by the polls"!

Hizzoner shows up to quaff lard & sugar at this establishment on opening day but wasn't seen toking a dubie when the legit pot outlets - which will provide a healthy share of incremental tax revenue to the city - did the same. Good for the doughnut proprietor, I suppose and partaking in pot,even though legal, is bad politics.

@maxplanck0  the guy doesn't like pot. You won, so not much he can do about it now. Get over it. At least he wasn't a dickbag and allowed you stones essentially free rein to open your little stores.
