Behind-the-Scenes of the Star Wars Costume Exhibit at the DAM
Whether they realize it or not, Star Wars fans are captivated, in part, by the costumes of their favorite characters. After all, would Darth Vader be the scary dude he is without the black mask and robe? Would Chewbacca be as lovable if he wasn't covered in scraggly red hair? On November 13, the Denver Art Museum will give Star Wars fans the opportunity of a lifetime: to be able to see the films' costumes up close. The "Star Wars and the Power of Costume" exhibit will feature the outfits of various characters, including Stormtroopers, Queen Amidala, C-3PO and R2-D2. The DAM gave Westword a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibit.
