The Denver coroner’s office has identified the man who died after a fall at a Colorado Rockies game on Tuesday as Robert Seamans, 27, of Pueblo.
Seamans reportedly lost his balance and struck his head while sliding down a stairway railing at Coors Field — one of his favorite places in the world.
Seamans’s MySpace page features a 103-image photo gallery memorializing a Rockies game back in 2009. Included in it are shots of Seamans and buddies downing brews, clowning around and simply enjoying the festivities before and after the game. Some examples:
The Colorado Rockies issued a statement about what the team described as a “tragic accident,” noting that its “thoughts and prayers are with the young man and his family and friends.”
