Neal Cassady Birthday Bash Weekend at Denver Metro Area (Friday-Sunday, free) Neal Cassady is a mythical legend for our city. Being a beat poet is one thing, but he was also a good friend of Jack Kerouac's and served as the bus driver for Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters for the Acid Tests. It was a fantastic life he lived, so celebrate it at discussions and films hosted at Lighthouse Writers Workshop and the McNichols Building this weekend. More info here.
