TRVE Brewing Anniversary Party at TRVE Brewing (Friday, free) Celebrate the one-year anniversary of TRVE Brewing tonight with a big bash featuring local art (including a new show by Sam Turner), music and local beers named after metal bands. Don't miss the brand-new anniversary brew!

CREATE DENVER: City Beautiful 2.0 & Closing Party at Civic Center Park (Friday, free) Tonight marks the debut of Create Denver's City Beautiful 2.0, a coworking space and art installation in the McNichols building. Come early for a party in the park, then continue the fun when the festivities move indoors and upstairs to an art party. Starting at dark, Legwork Studio & Ceavco Audio Visual will project a 3D video mapping display on the building.

Roll at EXDO Event Center (Friday, $10) DJ Cat Hartwell will provide the tunes for this special Bootyology Edition of Denver's roller- disco party. Drink, skate and enter a booty-shaking contest to win free drinks and T-shirts tonight.

Ballet in the Park at Civic Green Amphitheater (Friday, free) Pack a picnic and head to the park tonight for an evening of free entertainment. The Boulder Ballet Company will perform new dances as well as work from the past season i i this outdoor venue tonight.

The New York School at the Clyfford Still Museum (Friday, $10) Admission to the Clyfford Still Museum tonight includes a screening of The New York School. Michael Blackwood's 1972 documentary features artists like Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock and Clyfford Still, and should be a great way to get out of the heat and delve deeper into the abstract art world.

Rollin' Dreams Summer Festival at The Landmark (Saturday, $10) For $10 you can get food and drinks and tons of entertainment at this festival. The $10 admission price for Rollin' Dreams includes all-you-can sample food and micro-brews, as well as a car show and live music. The best part? Proceeds from the event go toward the Rollin' Dreams Foundation to help support kids with cancer with fun activities.

Blue Alchemy: Stories of Indigo at the Denver Art Museum (Saturday, $10) The Denver Art Museum is feeling blue today. A screening of Blue Alchemy: Stories of Indigo will look at people who use indigo dye all over the world. The event includes a reception and presentation by Mary Lance.

South Platte RiverFest at Confluence Park (Saturday-Sunday, free) Get outdoors and out on the water at this fest that includes everything from live music to paddle-boarding lessons and races to a beer garden. Colorado may be land-locked, but it still has plenty of liquid assets.

Cherry Blossom Festival at Sakura Square (Saturday-Sunday, free) Celebrate Japanese culture at this annual festival that comes complete with delicious Japanese cuisine, vintage textiles, ikebana flower arrangement demonstrations and taikō drumming.

Blessing of the Bicycles at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (Sunday, free) The House for All Sinners and Saints's annual Blessing of the Bicycles isn't just a church service -- it's an all-out party. The church will bless the cyclists of Denver and follow with a group ride, pizza, keg of Fat Tire, and red velvet cake.
