Tonight it's presenting its newest offering, True to This, a rags-to-riches documentary told through the eyes of the team riders and founders of the brand. Prism Waves at Goldyn (Friday, free) Goldyn is one hip clothing shop; as proof, it hosts free concerts featuring super-cool bands and serves free booze. Tonight, the Goldyn Sessions presents Prism Waves, a band full of melancholy, synth, reverb and great style to boot. Tattoo in Contemporary Art at 910Arts (Friday, free) Juli Morsella is an accomplished marquetry artist, recently transplanted to Denver from Italy. She loves the way all mediums of art can come together to tell a story and has gathered diverse work from ten artists hailing from Europe and the U.S. that all revolve around tattoo culture, from realism to abstract. Wipeout! Black Light Neon Roller Skate Party at Exdo (Friday, free to $5) Roller skating can be pretty cool when you mix it with booze, black lights and tons of neon, and that's exactly what's happening at this month's Reeewind & Roll at Exdo Events Center. Printmaking Workshop at McNichols Building (Saturday, free) March is officially Denver's Month of Printmaking, or Mo' Print, and it's taking over the McNichols Building until the end of April. Today the public can try their hands at the craft; participants are encouraged to dress for a mess. Meininger Art Supply will provide the tools and instructors will be on hand to help. Live tapping of Sounds on 29th at Colorado Public Television (Saturday, free) Being a part of a live studio audience is a one-of-a-kind experience. Catching television live is super-cool, and today Colorado Public Television is giving you the chance. At 2:30 p.m., Sounds on 29th will kick off its third season, with the always hilarious and mysterious host Sid Pink leading the way. Guests on the show will include bands Indigenous Robot and Casey James Prestwood and The Burning Angels. And don't forget the comedic stylings of Nate Balding and Haley Driscoll. Books, art and coffee dominate the space, but the space hosts live performances, too, which are incredible and intimate. Tonight Titwrench presents three bands that are bound to take you on a cosmic trip with experimental stylings and celestial rhythms. Anna Mall, Death in Space and Lady Uranium will tantalize you and cost you nothing to hear, but donations will be accepted. Beer School with Epic's brewer, Brian Arnold at Epic Brewing Company Denver is one of the hottest beer cities in the world right now -- and there's so much more to beer than getting drunk. It's a craft, with many rules and traditions that most people might not know. Epic Brewing's brewer, Brian Arnold, will guide you through the craft-beer world, with a tasting to test your knowledge after the training is over. The Time Traveler's Almanac Release Party at The Broadway Book Mall Time travel may not yet be possible, but today we can get prepared by celebrting the recent release of The Time Travelers Almanac. The Broadway Book Mall will be offering a chance to hear local contributors Jason Heller, Connie Willis and Carrie Vaughn read from the anthology, which includes over seventy of the best time-travel stories from some of the brightest science fiction writers of all time.
