As part of the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District's free days, the zoo will open its gates for free today so you can check out Predator Ridge, Tropical Discovery and Primate Panorama without opening your wallet.Two Evil Eyes at Crash 45 (Tuesday, free) This season's Cruel Winter Horror Series is devoted to creepy anthologies, and Blood-Thirsty Theresa's pick tonight is 1990's Two Evil Eyes. Created by filmmakers George Romero and Dario Argento, the film tells two eerie Edgar Allan Poe stories: "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" and "The Black Cat."
The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Denver Central Library (Tuesday, free) Fresh City Life's classic film series kicks off tonight with the 1939 William Dieterle version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The film stars Charles Laughton as the tragic, disabled bell-ringer in fifteenth-century France.
