Union Station may have recently revamped its image, but good eats have always been plentiful in LoDo. Now in its sixth year, LoDo Bites allows guests to visit 25 restaurants within the 25-block perimeter of Denver’s lower-downtown district. The culinary event was conceived by philanthropist Guenther Vogt and now serves as a fundraiser for the nonprofit LoDo District Inc.

“It’s a fun event that’s a great opportunity to visit an eclectic mix of restaurants and really enjoy LoDo,” says LDDI executive director Holly Barrett. “LoDo Bites is a mirror of the LoDo Sips event in the fall. This one focuses on fine dining instead of mixology.” At each stop along the guided tour, guests will sample cuisine, desserts and drinks from restaurants like Euclid Hall and Fogo de Chão.

Unlike some other food events in Denver, this one allows guests to go inside each of the restaurants instead of perusing a festival or marketplace setup. Sample LoDo Bites tonight from 5 to 9 p.m.; tickets are $35 and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com.
