Boosting its ever-growing library are exclusive single barrels from distillers such as Buffalo Trace and Old Rip Van Winkle. At tonight’s Pappy Van Winkle 17 Year Social, the Tavern officially introduces its newest, and perhaps most prestigious, acquisition yet. “No one else has a drop of this liquid,” Lawinski boasts about the wheated white lightning. “Also, Van Winkle has never been known to sell any bourbon by the barrel to anyone in the country,” making this “get” a pretty special one.
