Say you like to ride your bike. And you like to eat, right? Vegetarian? All the better. You'll feel right at home taking advantage of the BikeDenver fundraiser at WaterCourse Foods, where a percentage of every meal ticket today will go to the bicycle-advocacy group. And it's no accident that it's WaterCourse offering up the wheel deals: The restaurant started giving a 10 percent discount to bicyclists fourteen years ago and was the first BikeDenver Bicycle-Friendly Business of the Month honoree ever, back in 2009.

"Our motivation was to encourage alternative transportation from outside of walking distance, to alleviate parking congestion and provide a benefit and incentive to our clientele," says WaterCourse owner Dan Landes. That's not even counting WaterCourse's yum factor, which can't be ignored.

Ride over to the veggie haven, located at 837 East 17th Avenue, for lunch or dinner, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., then enjoy and give without really trying; visit www.bikedenver.org or www.watercoursefoods.com for more information.
