Sharon wanted to offer an antidote to that fragmentation of mens lives, and he started with his book but that was just the beginning. The Whole Man Expo is a program designed to teach men how to live lives of balance. The method: a variety of speakers, talks and workshops covering subjects from dealing with divorce to tapping the universal consciousness. One such talk, for example, is Elder-hood Rising, during which Robert William Case will examine the process of aging for men. (He wanted to call it Manhood Rising, but he thought thatd get some chuckles, Sharon notes.) But its not all talk, either: The expo will offer a variety of activities, like sounding-bowl mediation and even a jiu-jitsu demonstration.
The Whole Man Expo goes from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today at the Sheraton Denver Tech Center, 7007 South Clinton Street in Englewood. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. For more information, visit http://mensanthology.com/whole-man-expo.
