Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 21, when Artopia 2015 will fill City Hall with art, culture and fashion. Our presale for the event starts this morning, and you'll find some new twists added to Westword's annual arts extravaganza.... See also: Artopia 2014 -- the Artistic Lights Were Bright on Broadway Jolt from Guerilla Garden will be curating the event, highlighting some of the best up-and-coming artists in the area. Enjoy cocktails as you move through different installations and exhibits that engage the senses: Taste, smell, touch, feel, hear and, above all, experience the arts.

And take a trip down the rabbit hole with the return of Whiteout, Westword's annual fashion event, to Artopia. This Alice in Wonderland-themed fashion show will feature local designers and boutiques showcasing their work on the runway. Watch for LRE Couture, Rachel Marie Hurst, Imminent Rise, Equillibrium, Gino Velardi, D'Lola Couture, Stritch, Fancy Tiger, True Love Shoes, and Kitty Mae Millinery.

Tickets range from $25 to $75, and presale for Artopia 2015 starts at 10 a.m. today right here (use the promo code showandtell).

See you at Artopia 2015.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
