The tastes at Taste will include small bites and big bites from more than forty restaurants, several judged eating competitions, and culinary demonstrations by Top Chef victor Hosea Rosenberg; pastry prince Keegan Gerhard; Troy Guard, chef/owner of TAG and TAG|RAW BAR; and chef Mary Nguyen, who owns Street Kitchen Asian Bistro and Parallel Seventeen. Organizers will also set up a beer garden for the first time in the festival's fabled history. "We talked about doing a beer garden for a long time, and it's just a natural for the festival," says Johnson, who notes that all the beers will be local brews. Admission to the festival is free; tickets to purchase food and beer are sold in $10 strips, for cash only. For more information, visit www.atasteofcolorado.com.
