"Knowing they can raise money for fun things, and because they have the ability and the experience, they wanted to give back to the community," says Annette Herrera, whose daughter, Ashley, is a participating designer. "There are four designers, and they'll have anywhere from ten to fifteen even up to twenty designs that they've made themselves." A group of Marines will be there representing Toys for Tots; they'll collect the $10 donation that's the price of admission or get in for $5 with a new, unwrapped toy. Models will showcase the unique garments (which include both winter and summer wear) on the catwalk; afterward, you can mingle with the designers, then tell everyone you know that you rubbed elbows with an up-and-coming Name in the Fashion World. Doors open at 7 p.m.; for information, call Herrera at 720-276-8745 or e-mail [email protected].
