The Denver Animal Shelter is partnering with fashion students from the Art Institute of Colorado for this stylish and philanthropic event. Animals will model fashion designs from students; a dozen of the dogs/models will be available for adoption. Other festivities include a Doggy Kissing Booth, a silent auction, food and drinks. Local fashion designer and stylist Lil' Fresh Sam is unveiling her new collection, Robes of Heroes, under her brand Infatu'. The designs are inspired by a dreaded diagnosis that flips your world upside down: Robes of Heroes includes a series of conceptual jackets, each one representing a different entity idolized in American culture, juxtaposed against actual heroics. This fashion show is planned and produced by Colorado State University as a real-world learning experience for graduating apparel-design students in the Department of Design and Merchandising. They'll show their collections in a multi-sensory stage production with models, choreography and lighting effects and music.
