Tonight at 8 p.m. and again tomorrow at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., you can sample a world-class display of Chinese culture at the Chinese New Year Spectacular, at the Temple Buell Theatre in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. A forty-piece orchestra will accompany over sixty dancers, singers and solo musicians performing classical, ethnic, folk and story-based dance pieces. This is a wonderful show that people of all ages really enjoy, enthuses Andy Ellsmore of the Colorado Chinese Media Association. Theres a large component of Chinese classical dance, a lot of acrobatic and aerial-type maneuvers, really extraordinary costumes and an LCD-screen backdrop thats interactive with the performers.
