Fresh Art Studios has had the same name for a while, but photographer Terri Bell wanted to bring new awareness to the venue, so the resident artists, including three new ones, are putting up Fresh Art for the Holidays.

"It's a big open house, and everyone is cordially invited," Bell says. "There will be refreshments, there will be some deals on certain art pieces, and there will also be some door prizes. We're looking at it as a big celebration of art, and we're hoping to bring an awareness that art makes a great gift."

You'll be able to check out work by Bell as well as M. Beneventi, Anthony Camera (who shoots for Westword, too), Sarah Haney, Katie Hoffman, Jon Koenigsberg, Maggie Lawless and Meg Voigt Meersman; they'll be selling everything from copper-and-quartz mobiles to photography to mixed media to paintings, and a whole lot in between.

The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at Fresh Art, 900 Santa Fe Drive; e-mail [email protected] for more information.
Fri., Nov. 25, 6-9 p.m., 2011
