Its a history tour of Denver through the cemetery, with a little bit of mystery thrown in, explains Riversides Patricia Carmody. Things like, why is that mausoleum there and nobodys buried in it? Things along those lines. So its not a ghouly, scary kind of tour. Its the history of Riverside Cemetery, which is directly related to the history of Denver, and the mystery sets around some of the people.
Call Carmody at 303-322-3895 or e-mail [email protected] to make your reservation for the 4:30 or 5:30 p.m. tour (the 6:30 and 7:30 tours are already filled). Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for kids. Bring a flashlight and dress for an October evening in Colorado; afterward, refreshments will be served. Visit www.fairmountcemetery.net for information.
