Grease revs up Monday Movie Madness tonight at Infinity Park

No movie musical says summer better than Grease, which makes it a perfect choice to open the season at Infinity Park's Monday Movie Madness summer series of free family movies.

The upbeat and silly tale of mismatched high school lovers has an overaged cast (John Travolta in the role of bad boy Danny Zuko was 23 and Olivia Newton-John as Sandy Olsson was an elderly 28) and sometimes weaves out of its '50s time zone, but the 1978 adaptation is still pure entertainment, with a snappy book and even snappier cast that also includes Stockard Channing (33) and Taxi star Jeff Conaway (26).

Whatever its shortcomings, Grease evens the field with its music: Kids and adults alike still love it, and love to sing along. And who wouldn't want to, with songs like this:
