“Technically, this would be Bill’s first real solo exhibition as a mature artist,” Zeile enthuses. “His works of the last ten years have grown outside the realm of what most people in Denver are used to: They’ll expect to see what they’ve come to love and revere about him, and instead they’ll see an even greater set of work. These are such dense and detailed pieces that he’s honed in the last few years.” That would include the indescribable piece of political comment, “Tower of Sarah,” and other drawings and works that can only be described as monumental, in stature and in size.
