The 2011 showcase will introduce software products, gadgets and even food-and-beverage innovations. “There’s a product called the Leash Locket, and it’s a retractable leash,” Frey adds. “Another is called the Swing Along; it clips on chains to a swing and provides upper-body support. Another one is a company called Never Wet, and they have products that use super hydra-phobic coating — nanotechnology.”
The day includes judging of the inventions, as well as keynote speakers (QVC expert Diana Irvine and Louis Foreman) and an opportunity for attendees to walk around and interact with the inventors. It runs from noon to 7:30 p.m. at Noah’s Event Center, 11885 North Bradburn Boulevard in Westminster, and costs $15 for general admission, $79 to $99 for VIP.
