Kings of the Road

If you have better plans tonight than being filmed for indie television while participating in a bicycle scavenger hunt that ends with free beer and metal, party on. As for the rest of you, show some support for the courier class by riding down to Union Station around 7 p.m. and registering for the first-ever Cycle Jerks' ClusterFuck Alleycat Race — aptly named for the chaos that ensues when the informal race enters the most congested areas of Denver. The competition will be filmed for a future episode of Cycle Jerks, a local courier-themed Internet-TV show. Afterward, participants pay $5 and get free beer and music by To Be Eaten and Kingdom of Magic at 3 Kings Tavern, 60 South Broadway, while spectators pay $5 and buy their own beer. So let the games begin! Proceeds support the Cycle Jerks' filmmaking efforts and the courier pit stop Battlesteed. For details, visit
