I was pretty young when the first race came through town, and I watched my dad run it, so its been pretty special to be involved with it now and to see it grow and grow throughout the years.
Grow and grow, indeed: The 33rd annual BolderBoulder 10K will include up to ninety waves of runners, joggers and walkers, with start times on the Pearl Street Mall from 7 a.m. through 9:30 a.m. today. More than two dozen bands will entertain racers and fans at various points along the race route much of which is new this year and runners will get to experience the triumphant, traditional finish in front of a crowd packed into Folsom Field. Its become more than just a race, Jenkins says. Its one of the citys defining events.
