One of several concurrent offerings at the theater, the Dangerous version of Lysistrata -- the classical Greek play in which the women withhold favors from the men in an effort to bring about peace -- is indeed modern, as advertised. Adapted by Peter McGarry, it mixes the raunch of a '70s porn flick with the camp of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and features props from the sex-toy emporium Fascinations.

Tonight at 7:30 p.m., you can see it all for whatever you can afford (though all shows at Dangerous top out at only $10 a seat); they'll pass the basket at the end of this industry-night performance. The price is right. Visit Denver's Dangerous Theatre online for more information.
