Street artist and graphic designer Shepard Fairey is in town right now, painting a mural on the side of the Center For Visual Art building at 965 Sante Fe. Fairey teamed up with local artist, Evan Hecox and Philadelphia- based artist Jim Houser, to make a statement addressing the themes of consumption, class inequality, and the environment. There will be a book signing event tomorrow at CVA from 2 to 4 p.m., during the public debut of the mural.
