But RMCCs not-to-miss centerpiece has to be tonights tongue-in-cheek Stiletto Hippie fashion show, which Pifaaso describes as a showcase for the new era of the hippie. Featuring a hodgepodge of local designers using natural and organic hemp and cotton fabrics, as well as local and celebrity models (including Beverly Hills NORML executive director Cheryl Shuman, whom Pifaaso calls super classy and a good-looking dame), the event kicks off at 7 p.m. And then there are the stilettos, which represent the shows modern take on the hippie ethos. Some of our hippies can't wear stilettos, so they'll have to carry them, notes Pifaaso. Put that in your bowl and smoke it.
Admission to the RMCC ranges from $20 for a daily pass to a $60 two-day VIP package; visit http://rmccdenver.com for tickets and information.
