Horse & Cart's inventive playwrights' competition comes down to the wire as the three remaining contestants, whittled down from the original thirteen, present their final challenges. Taylor Adamson, Sarah Einspanier and Keegon Schuett each hope to bag a $500 cash prize and the opportunity to develop a play with Horse & Cart; be there to cheer on their efforts, vote and see the winner crowned.

Another showcase, this one featuring heavy staged readings, complete with costumes, props and tech, introduces the works-in-progress of six local playwrights: Mark Sbani, Carrie Printz, William Missouri Downs, Nicolette Vajtay, Mark Ogle and Frank Oteri. Comedian Kevin Shook will keep things light in-between as emcee, and the show is absolutely free.
