Reader: California brought Colorado a sh*t ton of money and jobs

On Monday, Westword posted its own version of "Shit people say" in Denver....and the shit quickly hit the fan.

People from Texas and California, in particular, didn't appreciate the joke. Here's the response from Surfnskidude:

This is fucking Weak Sauce and embarrassing. Funny you bash Californians when in the past 20 years, people moving here primarily came from California bringing this state a shit ton of money and jobs. You're bashing a lot of people that currently live here and contribute to this state so I would urge you to rethink this pathetic attempt in this poor done video. The reaction on facebook is similar to mine...people from Colorado are disgusted. Save yourselves and the innocent population the shame and embarrassment while you can and take this "shit" off that is simply misrepresentative of Denver and its people.
