Have pit bulls gotten a bad rap? That's the premise behind
Beyond the Myth,
Libby Sherrill's documentary on the misconceptions about the animals that screened last night at the Mayan, in the heart of a city that bans the breed.
And despite all the information that Sherrill lays out in her movie, some people aren't persuaded.
Says mom2cairns:
I don't believe that you can reliably trust a 'pit bull type' of dog.... they have a genetic switch that can not be predicted by any sort of test. They have proven that time and time and time again.
