Set somewhere just south of time and space, this minimalist production reinforces the idea of exile with its simple set design while exploring many of the themes of Ovids Metamorphosis. It takes place in a sort of nowhere place, says Weissman. Its happening in a car or elements of a car but it doesnt take place anywhere in particular, like the New Jersey turnpike. And while the couple is more present-day, the other three are sort of timeless.
