Rock On

Like both show tunes and rock anthems? Have we got a concert for you! Evolution Theatre Company and Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret have teamed up to present Broadway Rocks!, a musical revue of rock songs that have been belted out on Broadway stages around the world. It’s a night of singing, dancing, comedy and more that’s the perfect excuse to get out of your house on a Tuesday evening. You’ll hear tunes by Journey, the Who, Queen, ABBA, Billy Joel, Heart, and even a selection from the new rock musical Breach, written by local songwriter and performer David Nehls. And the cast is a who’s who of Denver singing talent: Seth Caikowski, Joel Adam Chavez, Rob Riney, John Sosna, Sarah Rex, Reyna Von Vett, Jalyn Coretenay Webb and Jessica Hindsley.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the show, which runs tonight and next Tuesday, March 30, at Lannie’s, 1601 Arapahoe Street. Admission is $15; call 303-293-0075 or visit for more information.
Tue., March 23; Tue., March 30, 2010
