That’s the premise of Hemp Bound, in which Fine gives readers a history lesson, then discusses tri-cropping: “three ways that farmers, processors and investors can immediately profit from hemp while helping wean humanity from fossil fuels,” he explains. “That’s fibers; seed oil, which will help us get away from damaging petrol-based plastics; and energy through biomass combustion.” And that’s particularly pertinent in our state. “Anybody in Colorado who wants to learn the ins and outs of what’s going to be the fast-est-growing industry in Colorado’s history should come to this event,” he says. “Your state is leading the world in an agricultural revolution.”
