Shwing!

The hardest part about making Alamo Drafthouse Cinema's Wayne’s World Quote-Along work isn’t finding good lines – it’s deciding which great lines are going to make the cut.

“When I think about how the quote-alongs are put together, [Alamo programmers] try to whittle it down to the best lines,” explains Keith Garcia, creative manager for Denver’s Alamo. “And it’s been a while since I watched Wayne’s World, but when I did, I felt like every line of dialogue is quotable. They definitely have their work cut out for them to decide what the best ones are.”

In between reciting all those classic lines along with the film, you’ll get to enjoy the rad ’90s fashion, the timeless bromance between Wayne and Garth, and Tia Carrere’s brief moment of being Hollywood’s “it” girl. Plus, the Alamo will supply the necessary props to relive Wayne’s World’s finest moments, like a very tiny spew cup and some Red Vines -- everything you need to enjoy Mike Myers at his best, not to mention the single finest movie ever to be made out of a Saturday Night Live skit. Party on, indeed.

See it at 7:30 p.m., tonight only, at the Alamo, 7301 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton. Tickets are $15. For more information, visit drafthouse.com/denver/littleton.
