With that in mind, Littletons Aspen Grove Lifestyle Center urges you to look to the skies and be charmed tonight when, as part of its ongoing Stars Over Aspen Grove event (taking place in conjunction with the International Year of Astronomy), the public is invited to watch a free outdoor screening of E.T. The Extraterrestrial, with telescope viewing hosted by S&S Optika. Its also a prime opportunity to see The World at Night, a traveling exhibit featuring images of world landmarks snapped against gorgeous celestial views, as captured by some of the planets best night-sky photographers, on view in the centers suite 342, near Starbucks, through August 16.
Tonights festivities begin around 6 p.m., and the movie starts at dusk; admission is free. Bring your own seating, or rent a chair for $1. Children ages 4 to 10 are also encouraged to submit entries this evening for a Childrens Art Contest (entries are due no later than August 7 and will be eligible to hang alongside TWAN works during the last week of the exhibit). Aspen Grove is at 7301 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton; visit www.shopaspengrove.com for complete details.
