Well have a lot of different things going on, says organizer Kronda Seibert, the chair of Victorian Productions. Beginners and professionals will find a lot to enjoy. Activities will include a Victorian self-defense class, a build-your-own-steampunk-gun class, some live-action role-playing and a costume ball, as well as lectures and panels featuring local and national steampunk authors and artists. Regardless of your bronzing aptitude or your skill at curling mustaches, you should find plenty to keep yourself busy throughout the convention, which kicks off at 8 a.m. today and runs through tomorrow at the Tivoli Student Union, on the Auraria campus.
Tickets, $25, will be available at the door; for more information and a full schedule of events, go to www.anomalycon.com.
