“By eco-formal, all we mean is, please don’t buy anything new,” Shakti explains. “If you can get something recycled from Buffalo Exchange or on eBay, then that’s great, or if you can find something in your closet — but we’re just really interested in this entire event having a green feel.
“We’re going to be launching the Yogi’s Choice Awards,” Shakti continues; the actual awards are scheduled to be presented in January 2010, but honorary awards will be given tonight to Elephant Journal for going paperless, Pangea Organics, Prana, Shanti Nicosea and the Chanda Plan Foundation.
