Street Style: Blogger Amber Wilkerson Spotted at the Four Seasons

We stumbled into some serious style when we spotted Amber Wilkerson, owner of  a local spray tan business, Amber Spray Tans, and author of the blog Every Once in a Style, after Larimer Square's Winter Fashion Show at Edge in the Four Seasons. "It was awesome," she said. "I love seeing local businesses thriving." We stopped to chat with Wilkerson about what inspires her style and where she shops.
Wilkerson is wearing a maroon skirt is by Bar III, a Forever 21 crop top and a gray waterfall jacket by Piko 1988. Wilkerson describes her style as," feminine, trendy and glam."
Style inspirations and icons:  I get a lot of inspiration from other fashion bloggers, street style and runways.

Shops at: I love mixing highs and lows so I'll invest in classic pieces from Nordstrom and Revolve Clothing, but then find trendy, inexpensive pieces at H&M and Forever 21.
Style mantra: Fashion should be fun and make you feel good!

Favorite accessory: My favorite accessory is my mom's classic quilted Chanel bag. I steal it whenever possible.
Favorite color: My favorite color changes often; currently I'm really into pale gray.
Wilkerson finishes off her look with a sparkly manicure and silver jewelry. While local boutiques were featured on the runway inside, Wilkerson's look stole the show on the sidewalk outside. Her mix of warm and cool colors —  black, gray and maroon — created  a perfect palette for winter, and her layered look combined fashion with warmth. Wilkerson is clearly someone who studies fashion and knows how to put together an outfit.

Don't be afraid to steal the show with your own personal style, Denver.
