Sweet Stuff

It’s all over: You came, saw and conquered the Thanksgiving feast — now what? Well, Christmas (and other accompanying holidays) is the obvious answer, so why not head to A Grande Finale Patisserie, 641 Main Street in Louisville, for Desserts Galore?

“We tried it a couple of years ago for the first time because that weekend is always pretty slow for us,” explains the patisserie’s Nicole Hedlund. “We wanted to see if we could generate more traffic, and it worked!”

And no wonder, what with the discounts on dessert and gift baskets and daily drawings for dessert prizes. And let’s not forget the free samples: “We’re going to be doing samples of our gingerbread dessert drink as well as our chocolate fudge, brandied fruitcake, spiced nuts, our linzer torte and maybe some cookies,” says Hedlund.

Think your stomach can handle it? Head to A Grande Finale today, tomorrow or Sunday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. to sample some of the seasonal goodness, glean some gift ideas and maybe even book your holiday dessert. Less time in the kitchen equals more time to chow, after all. For information, visit www.agrandefinale.com or call 303-926-4084.

Let the sampling begin!
