We thought that this show could fill a niche that Denver isnt doing yet, Coplans says. This is not the traditional craft fair, where everyone has an individual booth. Instead, were bringing a select bunch of designers together. Its kind of curated in a way; were hoping it will read a little bit, but not exactly, like a pop-up store rather than a traditional craft show. We tried to pick designers that would be compatible, so if you love one of Jils tops, it might go great with a certain pair of Swear Jar earrings. Were trying to create those compatible looks by merchandising everything mixed together.
Its not easy to reinvent the wheel, but were going for something thats a little bit fresh at least we hope thats what people will see.
