The Five Minute Film Fest rocks Deer Pile tonight before taking a break

Good things sometimes come in small packages, and that's certainly the case with Westword MasterMind Johnny Morehouse's long-running Five Minute Film Fest, a showcase of short shorts that pack a lot of punch in five minutes or less. Its latest incarnation has found a home at Deer Pile, and because Morehouse is about to take a break, tonight's installment promises to be especially long-lasting.

The FMFF gets under way at 8 p.m. tonight with musical guest Littles Paia (aka Adam Baumeister of Bad Weather California) and a hand-picked selection of cinematic mini-gems. Here's a little Littles to whet your appetite.
