In addition to the one-night-only art show, the event will feature a non-traditional fashion show created by collaborators Matthew Morris Salon and Vanessa Barcus of the Goldyn boutique. “We’re calling it a French-style fashion salon — the models will be walking around the whole evening,” explains Mod Livin’s Amanda Lezan. Artist Kristen Hatgi Sink will also lend her unique style to the shindig with a specially designed photo booth, and DJ Adam Hester will spin the best in gushy love songs. There will be light snacks and adult beverages available, but the evening is definitely family-friendly.
Modern Love begins at 6:30 p.m. at Mod Livin’, 5327 East Colfax Avenue. The party is free, and all proceeds from art sales go to Denver CASA. For more information, visit modlivin.com.
