Shakespeare goes en pointe, with fairies, in the Colorado Ballet's season opener, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Set to a score by Felix Mendelssohn, performed by a live orchestra and the Colorado Children's Chorale, and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, it's a fanciful way to kick off the fall, and certain to be a hit with ballet lovers of all ages.

Vintage resurrects this oldie but goodie from Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, which follows a couple through fifty years in a double tour de force previously played by such famous duos as Mary Martin and Robert Preston, Carol Lawrence and Gordon MacRae, Carol Burnett and Rock Hudson, Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, and Lee Remick and Hal Linden. Local talent Suzanne Nepi and Brian Walker Smith take the honors here as Agnes and Michael Snow in Vintage's new production.
