Welcome to the inaugural edition of Three to Ski, where we recommend the, umm, three best hills for you to hit up this weekend, by ski or snowboard. This week, by default:

1. Wolf Creek: We're getting some snow this week (had you noticed?), but Wolf Creek is getting absolutely smothered, especially for this early in the year. Our friends to the south got two feet in the last two days, which means they'll be opening more than just the bunny hill on Saturday. They'll be running two lifts up the mountain, Treasure and Bonanza.

2. Loveland: Loveland's been open for the better part of a month now. They added a second lift on Wednesday (Chair 6), and they've had seven inches of snow in the last couple days. Marketing Director John Sellers says they might get another run or two open this weekend.

3. Arapahoe Basin: This week brought the same seven inches to A-Basin that it did to Loveland. They've still just got the one lift open with three runs. Still, there's more snow in the forecast, so conditions should be pretty good.
