The Denver Roller Dolls'
first home bout of 2011 at the First Bank Center isn't until February 19, but it's never too early to get a piece of the action: Tonight at 6 p.m. the Roller Dolls will host the first practice session and informational meeting for their new
Junior Roller Derby learn-to-skate program for girls and boys ages 6-17 at Skate City in Littleton, 5801 South Lowell Way.
If you're 18 or older and have been having some Whip It-style derby dreams of your own, lace up for the official DRD tryouts on January 16 at 3 p.m. or the weekly derby pickup games (Sundays, 6-9 p.m.) at the Roller Dolls' practice facility at 3600 Wynkoop.
And, if you're a guy or gal who likes to play with dolls, then it just might be time to get your resume together: We hear the Denver Roller Dolls' all-star Mile High Club traveling team is looking for a new coach.
