“When we revisit any material, we tend to make minor adjustments here and there to make things tighter,” he explains. “In the case of Tommy, it’s refining some of the puppeteering — little gestural additions and whatnot to make his movements more natural.” But, Colonna adds, the troupe is having a blast reviving the show...and the puppet: “It’s a fun show for us to do, because we all get to play smaller parts of the whole — literally, the arms, legs and head of Tommy Lee Jones.”
