If you've been anywhere near a computer, iPod, television or mall in the last two years, chances are you've heard the addictive audio crack that is Vampire Weekend. Now comes word that the indie darlings will be headlining Aspen's 10th Annual Bud Light Spring Jam on March 19th.

Everyone's favorite topsider-wearing, post-collegiate pop/rock outfit will be playing a FREE show at 8 p.m. in downtown Aspen as part of the CORE Party.
While the formal kickoff for the two week Spring Jam festival (March 19-28) is the annual KickAspen Big Air competition on the 19th, Vampire Weekend's performance marks the first of the Bud Light concert series, although the other acts have yet to be announced.

Other highlights of Spring Jam should be the third annual Schneetag and Helly Hansen Battle in the Bowls and, if you like watching amateurs face plant, the terrain park boot camp where kids and adults will learn how to hit some basic tricks. Sounds like a good way to spend spring break or those shiny new vacation days.
