The highly anticipated Mile High Social, Denver's new reality show, is set to debut at 8 p.m. Friday with a watch party at Ghost Plate & Tap. The socially aware show's first 7.5-minute episode (aptly titled "The Casting Call") will feature a performance from The Epilogues and focus on the diversity of the dozens of women who tried out for its final three starring spots. During the short debut, audiences will see the serious sides, emotional sides and hidden talents of those who auditioned.
"We had a bigger turnout than expected," says Sam Joos, co-founder of Koncrete Media, the company behind the show. "Over fifty women turned out for the casting call. It was surprising how open they were with us."

After weeks of preparation, Mile High Social's lucky three stars have already been chosen, and they've started filming traditional episodes around town. Unlike other reality shows where the filming is done well in advance, Mile High Social will be shot and edited almost weekly while new episodes air as close to real time as possible.
