"These are people who wouldn't normally be talking," says CWA representative Graham Gerritsen. "This year's theme, 'Free Thinking', really speaks to the fact that we're trying to encourage intellectual discourse and honest communication between people who wouldn't normally see each other. We even encourage audience participation so they become part of the conversation.
Starting today at 9 a.m. and continuing through Friday April 9, the 62nd annual CWA takes place at numerous locations on the University of Colorado Boulder campus, with the University Memorial Center hosting many of them, including "Too Big to Fail: Automobiles, Banks, Countries," with panel members specializing in economics, journalism and international affairs. The annual CWA Jazz Concert takes place April 6 starting at 8 p.m. at Macky Auditorium, University Avenue and 17th Street.
